You’re a Self-Proclaimed

Sous Chef

Modest, Trusting, Resourceful

so, what does a “self-proclaimed sous chef” mean?

You like to use the resources available to you! When it comes to food, you eat to live. You keep it simple, decide what you’re hungry for, and trust that you can rely on finding what you need without having to put a ton of thought into it. At the grocery store, you shop for the basics, including a few prepared items, and often assume you’ll be eating take-out for at least a few meals this week. You often feel a bit intimidated in the kitchen and would prefer to go out than eat in. For you, food is about convenience. You value SIMPLICITY in the kitchen.

Your Strengths:

  • Modest

  • Trusting

  • Resourceful

Areas For Improvement:

  • Self-Reliance

  • Enthusiasm

While you are resourceful in your quest to feed yourself each day…

You might be struggling to really hone in on your body’s unique needs. Perhaps you’re dealing with a chronic health condition or have been advised to follow a specific diet to help reduce inflammation.

Because you like menu planning to be simple, you may feel over-reliant on prepared/packaged items and restaurants. You might also find yourself indulging in certain foods you know you should avoid because shopping when you’re already hungry creates cravings that throw you off course.

Balancing your desire for simplicity in the kitchen with education around what your specific body needs could help you achieve the health goals you’ve set for yourself.
